Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our growing Cleveland, OH office.Our multi-disciplined group intends to aggressively grow the traffic team by adding a position that would tackle the following responsibilities: Work closely with designers, planners, and other traffic engineers on a wide range of projects Provide technical attention to detail and project leadership on traffic analysis tasks Contribute to creative solutions for traffic operations and safety Be mindful of project schedules and client delivery Ableto communicate with clients and internal stakeholders Participate in recruitmentand the development of junior technical staff Develop and prepare technical bids and proposals Develop and maintain client relationships Candidate Specification We invite applications from candidates with the following experience: BS (Civil) Engineering, or equivalent Professional Engineering (PE)registration preferred andProfessional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) a plus 5-10 years of experience in Traffic & Transportation Engineering/Planning preferred Experience in traffic analysis and microsimulation Travel demand modeling experience a plus Signal design, signal timing plan development, signing plan development, and/or traffic control experience are a plus NEPA experience a plus Experience or training in computer applications and operations (Microsoft Office, GIS, TransModeler, Synchro, TransCADBentley OpenRoads Designer, etc.) Valid driver's license Good written and verbal communication skills Our teams are comprised of bright and enthusiastic people who wish to make a difference to the world that we live in.
