What You’ll Do:
Serve as a role model, advocate, and motivator, using your lived experience to provide authentic peer-to-peer support within our innovative CCBHC.

• Build authentic relationships to assist individuals in identifying and accomplishing their recovery goals.
• Facilitate recovery planning that respects diverse pathways, including harm reduction and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
• Lead supportive group sessions with compassion and professionalism.
• Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and nurses to coordinate care and support long-term recovery.

What You Bring:

• Lived Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sustained personal recovery experience.
• Certification: Must be a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or be willing to complete certification within 6 months of hire (support provided).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills:
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity and all pathways of recovery.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Requirements: Ability to travel locally up to 30% of the time.
