Position Title: Receiving and Logistics Associate
Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:30pm (Monday – Friday)
QPS is hiring a Utility/Receiving Associate for a company in Elk Grove Village, IL. As a Utility/Receiving Associate, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and moving high-performance components through the production process. From hands-on surface prep to critical inspection and logistics, you’ll help ensure every part meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Receiving and Logistics Associate Responsibilities: - Receive incoming product deliveries, including unpackaging, counting and verifying serial numbers
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and condition
- Prepare aerospace parts for coatings application, including cleaning, sanding, hanging/fixturing and transferring between departments
- Assist with oven preparation and monitoring, ensuring correct temperature settings and cleanliness before and after use
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic entries for product tracking and process verification
- Transport materials and products to appropriate workstations within the facility
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Provide cross-functional support across departments and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements for Receiving and Logistics Associate: - Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Able to lift and handle parts or materials weighing up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working with and around industrial chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
- Forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks under pressure or tight deadlines
- Proficient with computers; experience with Microsoft Office and production tracking software is a plus
- Effective communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
