Jim's Landscape & Lawn Care, LLC (Downers Grove, IL) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Company Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage customer relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality landscaping services. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with expertise in operations management, sales, quoting, estimates, CRM systems, and a willingness to work in the field as needed. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight, customer engagement, and operational excellence to grow the business and maintain client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, crew management, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as material procurement and vendor relations.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Actively engage in sales activities, including lead generation, client consultations, and closing deals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Quoting and Estimates:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes and estimates for landscaping projects, including design, installation, and maintenance services.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project scope, client needs, and site conditions.
  • Present proposals to clients, addressing questions and ensuring clarity on project deliverables and costs.

CRM Management:

  • Utilize CRM software to manage client data, track leads, and monitor project statuses.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and follow-ups to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, improve sales processes, and optimize client communication.

Field Work (As Needed):

  • Step into the field to assist crews during peak periods, emergencies, or complex projects.
  • Perform hands-on tasks such as planting, hardscaping, or equipment operation to support team efforts and maintain project quality.
  • Train and mentor field staff to uphold company standards and improve performance.

Additional Duties:

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability on all projects.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the company competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of [2-4] years of experience in landscaping with at least [1] year in a management or supervisory role.
