Job Description

A dedicated paraprofessional is needed to support student learning in a K-12 school setting located in Exeter, NH. This full school year contract position plays a vital role in enhancing educational experiences by providing reliable, hands-on assistance to teachers and directly supporting students academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Support individual students or small groups with assignments and learning tasks
• Help implement lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs, including those with special education requirements
• Monitor student progress and behavior, offering encouragement and guidance as needed
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt materials and support strategies

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively within a team-oriented environment
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
• Familiarity with supporting special education needs is a plus
