We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic leadership team as a Partner . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial auditing, tax preparation, and financial report interpretation. As a CPA Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality financial services to our clients, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and closely held entities.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, offering expert guidance in tax, audit, and financial consulting.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to firm-wide training and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners on strategic growth, business development, and operational improvements.

Accounting & Tax Duties:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Conduct thorough financial audits to assess and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and preparation services for individuals and businesses.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing financial positions.
  • Manage journal entries and ensure all debits and credits are properly recorded.
  • Utilize Excel and QuickBooks for financial reporting, analysis, and client bookkeeping support.
  • Work directly with clients in private equity to deliver custom financial and compliance solutions.
  • Remain current on industry regulations, tax law changes, and accounting best practices.

Requirements:

  • Active CPA license in the State of California.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive public accounting experience, including experience in tax planning, financial audits, and report preparation.
  • Strong working knowledge of debits and credits, journal entries, and accounting fundamentals.
  • Proven proficiency in Excel; QuickBooks experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills, especially when working with complex financial data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client service and internal mentorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
